Rezolute is a late-stage rare disease company focused on significantly improving outcomes for individuals with hypoglycemia caused by hyperinsulinism (HI). Our antibody therapy, RZ358 (ersodetug), is designed to treat all forms of HI and has shown substantial benefit in clinical trials and real-world use for the treatment of congenital hyperinsulinism (cHI) and tumor hyperinsulinism (tHI).

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Corporate Communications Manager is responsible for many organizational and creative tasks to standardize and improve the communication efforts of the organization both internally and externally. As our Corporate Communications Manager, you report to the Sr. Director of Corporate Operations. You will be active in many key parts of our business with an overall mission of bringing our company’s story and message to a diverse group of internal and external audiences. You’ll be at the heart of our corporate communications efforts, helping effectively communicate our company’s story and the strategy that drives our brand messaging and business forward.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Senior Director of Corporate Operations to support activities pertaining to internal and external communications, public relations and investor relations
  • Develop an integrated internal and external communications framework and delivery plan to execute the strategy
  • Consult with Senior Director of Corporate operations and executive management to develop effective communication procedures and policies for various situations
  • Draft press releases following organizational news
  • Leverage various internal communication vehicles to support employee experience; Expand awareness of key business initiatives and strategy, based on understanding of audiences and corporate objectives
  • Write internal company notes and other business correspondence following organizational news
  • Support investor relations activities such as meeting schedules, conference registration, and investor targeting/tracking
  • Manage corporate social media accounts (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook) and develop ongoing content calendar, working closely with Medical Affairs team
  • Proactively pitch and communicate with media outlets and journalists, and create briefing documents for senior executives
  • Develop materials to educate staff on communication practices
  • Support Commercial team on relevant communications activities related to launch efforts

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • The position requires an experienced communications professional who demonstrates sound business judgment and can work closely with senior-level leaders to develop and drive effective and engaging communications. The ideal candidate demonstrates creativity, initiative, adaptability, and the ability to quickly learn the business and operate within a complex and dynamic environment
  • BS degree in communications, journalism or related field and 5 years of experience in agency (healthcare) or in-house
  • Experience working in corporate communications, internal communications, or executive communications, with technology, healthcare, life sciences and/or biotech and pharmaceutical background a plus
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Excellent communication skills and writing, editing, and presentation building skills
  • Strong project management skills, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines while working across geographies
  • Dedication to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • Track record of working with individuals at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to seek diverse input from multiple constituents and stakeholders to drive innovative solutions
