The Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Leadership

  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
  • Works with cross-functional teams to get information and results needed

Customer Relations

  • Professionally represents the company to the customer. Utilize knowledge of company’s product lines and services to keep existing/ potential customers informed when new/ additional needs are identified
  • Actively addresses any potential issues at the customer site and provide alternative solutions. Drive implementation of new solutions for the customer

Responsibilities:

  • Product/ Hardware/ System engineer who will provide technical support to field engineers, product support personnel who are troubleshooting thin film deposition chambers for gaps in process capability, chamber matching, defect, yield failure issues
  • Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software
  • Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering
  • Supports business important customer new tool hardware qualification, training and BKM document creation
  • Semiconductor fab experience is preferred
  • Travel up to 15% -20%
