Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As Global Project Manager Trade Compliance your objective is to ensure that the organization adheres to global trade compliance regulations by effectively driving the implementation and roll-out of key Trade Compliance programs, projects and initiatives including the Internal Compliance Program (ICP) within Umicore related to Export Control & Sanctions valid for the whole organization.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You lead and manage complex global strategic and critical Trade Compliance projects including the ICP with multiple workstreams in a highly dynamic environment.
  • You develop a deep understanding of needs and align with stakeholders on scope and deliverables. You build strong, influential relationships across senior levels of Umicore.
  • You drive change management efforts to facilitate the smooth adoption of the ICP across the organisation or any other Trade Compliance related project. You develop strategies to address potential resistance effectively.
  • You improve existing compliance processes and address emerging risks You develop mitigation strategies to resolve potential issues and make informed decisions on compliance matters.
  • You continuously strive to optimize and digitize trade compliance project management processes. You develop and maintain KPIs to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of compliance project initiatives.
