About the function
As part of the Group Reward and Benefits Operations team, you will play a crucial role in developing a high-performing and highly engaged Global Benefits Operations team. Reporting to the Assistant Manager - Global Reward and Benefits Operations, Your responsibilities will include leading critical activities such as benefits reporting, generation and distribution, benefits query management and escalations. Additionally, administrating Benefits Purchase Order creation, invoice management and reconciliation and vendor management. Your outstanding partner management, eye for detail, out of the box thinking, financial control, process controls, and execution skills will be key to the success of these projects. Using your extensive experience in HR and payroll operations, or HR and payroll service delivery, process engineering, and process simplification, you will implement standard methodology benefits processes and data management strategies to improve operational efficiency and accuracy across multiple regions and time zones.
About the role
The Global Reward Operations (GRO) team supports various benefit processes (e.g., product allowance, car allowance, health insurance) for European markets. The Junior Manager will define, document, and improve both online and offline benefit processes and ensure a successful annual benefit enrollment for the entire European population. The role aims to scope out, document, and enhance the respective processes across Europe, reviewing and updating procedures in accordance with new legislation and regulatory requirements
- Ensure all in-scope reporting activities are completed accurately and on time.
- Regularly review and update Step Maps, Work Instructions, Benefits Matrices, Benefit Guides, Factsheets, and FAQs, making them accessible to appropriate teams, and ensuring consistency and accuracy in communications materials.
- Perform all CARM controls and data reconciliations, resolving any issues. Continuously identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Implement process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline operations and drive business results.
- Demonstrate strong experience with Workday operations, ensuring all required actions are executed in the system to facilitate benefits administration and other processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all in-scope reporting activities.
- Regularly review and update Process Steps, Maps, Work Instructions, Benefits Matrices, Benefit Guides, Factsheets, and FAQs. Make them available to relevant teams, conduct necessary training, and ensure consistency and accuracy in all communications materials.
- Perform all CARM controls and data reconciliations, resolving any issues.
- Review and reconcile vendor invoices within agreed timelines to ensure payments are made as per the agreed SLA’s.
- Leverage insights to identify opportunities for process and workflow improvements.
- Utilize strong interpersonal skills to motivate and align multiple teams, business processes, and data and technical governance.
- Drive significant simplification and efficiency in processes and systems to support the global productivity agenda.
- Ensure all controls and processes meet internal and external regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across Diageo and with vendor teams.
What you will bring
- Fluency in all 3 languages is a must: Hungarian, Italian and English
- Strong understanding of HR processes and data management
- Payroll experience is highly valued.
