DESIRED BACKGROUND AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in HR leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in a multi-site manufacturing and/or distribution environment.
  • Experience developing a HR strategy and executing with a “hands-on” approach.
  • In-depth knowledge of global HR practices, employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, policies, and programs across different countries.
  • Experience working in diverse cultural environments, managing cross-cultural teams, and fostering global collaboration.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Proven track record in leadership, strategic planning, talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

SUMMARY – BASIC FUNCTION OF THE ROLE

Reporting to the EVP & CHRO, the Global Senior HR Director provides strategic leadership and effective HR consulting to ELT & business leaders, managers, and staff within the respective client group. They will provide leadership and support in functional areas of human resources including talent management, performance management, employee and leadership development, recruitment, employee and/or labor relations, change management, employee engagement and organizational effectiveness. The role is responsible for embedding company HR strategy in the respective client group by working in collaboration with the COE’s and by providing professional HR guidance and support to ELT Leader(s) and relevant internal client groups with the objective to add value to the business.
The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter capable of creating a multi-year talent strategy that supports the overall objectives of Enerpac. A high energy, hands on creative thinker, and effective team player he/she will be capable of working on multiple projects at once with the flexibility to adjust quickly to changing conditions and demands. They will have strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally while challenging the leaders. The candidate will excel at managing and working as an integral member of high-power teams.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement the organization’s HR strategy to enable the business to meet its goals, both short- and long-term.
  • Contribute to the business strategy: Identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify and address HR-related challenges and opportunities.
  • Continue developing the HR business partner capability across the Group, effectively creating solutions to business challenges.
  • Employs effective change management strategies to aid in business transformation activities.
  • Supports organizational change and design by working with senior management and Global HRBPs to identify business requirements and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to leadership and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
  • Works closely with leadership and employees to improve engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness aimed at delivering stronger business performance.
  • Leads annual processes related to talent management and succession planning, performance management and compensation planning for the site population.
  • Provides employees and management with coaching and counseling, ensuring objectivity and professionalism in dealing with sensitive issues.
  • Support line management: Forecast and plan the talent pipeline requirements in line with the function/business strategy.
  • Ensure continuous build of performance driven culture:
  • Drive midyear and annual review process to closure as per timelines.
  • Facilitate line of sight initiatives to build a high-performing organization aligned with the strategic leadership agenda.
  • Plan, manage and provide continuous improvement to all aspects of the client organization and leadership review process based on strategic objectives.
  • Review and benchmark the internal and external environment to improve the HR policies and initiatives.
