The Senior Manager is responsible for supporting the overall strategy development program for the global procurement organization. This role plays a foundational part in enhancing the global procurement team’s effectiveness and ability to deliver on their savings target plan.
The position has global responsibilities across all Booking Holdings brands and reports to the Strategy Tower Lead in the Global Procurement department which is part of the Booking Holdings Finance organization.

YEARS OF RELEVANT JOB KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field. MBA is a bonus
  • Minimum of 6-7 years of progressive experience in sourcingExperience in leading categories of indirect spend and in finance is strongly preferred
  • Deep knowledge of strategic sourcing methodology, category management, procure-to-pay processes and tools and supplier management
  • Experience in leading small global teams
  • Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and flexibility to work independently and in teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparing and delivering presentations
  • Demonstrated change management and project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop small teams and build credibility with business partners

Responsibilities:

  • Manage key special projects for new initiatives in the business, focusing on vendor management opportunities, buying channel enablement (including catalogues and payment cards) and overall end to end source to pay (S2P) process efficiency initiatives
  • Lead the key capabilities, training & development program for global sourcing and support team
  • Support development of procurement tech stack strategy to enable a more streamlined experience for the business S2P engagement process, internal procurement knowledge hub as well as enhancement governance and demand management process
  • Act as central liaison / point of contact for sourcing team for joint initiatives with other support functions
  • Manage other special projects and sourcing opportunities as needed
