Essential Requirements:
- University degree, preferably in Accounting
- 2-4 years of experience in resolving and documenting technical accounting matters under IFRS
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Highly professional behaviour and good communication skills
- Ability to extract and communicate key concepts from complex situation
- Analytical and conceptual thinking
- Critical questioning and application of learning to new situations
- Ability to build trust and strong cross-functional relationships
- Fluent Englis
Responsibilities:
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Providing Technical Accounting direction across the full Sandoz organization (including commercial and non-commercial operations), in the planning and reporting of local BD&L and other transactions, accounting for strategic projects, and other complex / significant accounting matters
- Ensure that transactions are appropriately documented in accordance with the Sandoz Accounting Manual
- Ensuring global compliance with IFRS and the Sandoz Accounting Manual
- Drive the upskilling of the broader finance community through design and delivery of training, and fostering relevant technical accounting knowledge sharing across the whole organization
- Responsible for communicating and coordinating Technical Accounting matters both internally within FRA and with external auditors
- Ensuring that the Sandoz Accounting Manual is updated for changes and is at all times fully IFRS compliant
- Assist in the preparation of the Annual Report
- Work on special projects (including BD&L and M&A transactions) and support as needed
