Description:
The Purpose and Impact Associate/ Specialist will help coordinate our organization-wide approach to embedding Purpose within and throughout Nasdaq. This individual will coordinate cross-functional efforts to drive engagement with people at all levels of the organization to make ‘living the Nasdaq Purpose’ tangible.
Job Description:
The Purpose and Impact Associate/ Specialist will play a key role in developing and managing purpose and social impact programs and partnerships with our nonprofit and for-profit partners around the world, and will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of volunteer opportunities, employee giving, and managing the data systems.
- Support the deployment of a program of actions, processes, behaviors and structures to embed Purpose at Nasdaq.
- Convene internal stakeholders from across Nasdaq, including Human Resources, Internal Communications, Purpose team colleagues and others, as necessary, to connect Nasdaq’s Purpose to employees throughout the company and weave purpose through key corporate moments.
- Leverage existing channels to showcase purpose-led employee action.
- Design, develop and implement programs to support the organization’s corporate social responsibility and community engagement projects.
- Serve as the primary contact for nonprofit and special project partners working with Nasdaq Purpose Initiative and Foundation programs
- Manage all day-to-day communications with partners, including processing project requests, sharing opportunities, and updating project information in our database
- Address any issues with partners, and elevate issues as appropriate
- Ensure accurate, detailed, current information about projects is available to Purpose Leadership
- Meet regularly with program partners to ensure high quality program delivery
- Regularly assess new partnerships and opportunities to expand current programs and partnerships
- Use specific marketing strategies and/or media to launch and position products and services.
- With other marketing and technical teams, manage information on our website, and regularly monitoring social and web content for opportunities to improve communications; serve as primary implementation manager for projects in place
- Work in tandem with program and executive team to ensure projects are led, filled, and meet the needs of all stakeholders
- In close partnership with Purpose leadership team, identify and implement growth opportunities for program offerings, including opportunities to work with our partners in new ways, and continuing to develop special initiatives
- Support in the implementation of special events
- Support special projects and initiatives as needed
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience and bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrated interest in the nonprofit sector and corporate social responsibility
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage many moving projects at once
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills and experience working in a hybrid environment
- Interest and ability to work as part of a small team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to take initiative and work independently on projects
- Demonstrated proactive approach to problem solving
- Experience participating in or leading service-learning work
- Passion for community-based development

The base pay range for this role is $74,800 - $124,600. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
