THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for an individual who is energetic, passionate, a self-starter, problem solver with forward thinking, result-driven and customer centric mentality. The Global Sourcing Specialist should be an enthusiastic team player and high performer.
The Global Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for the supplier sourcing, cost negotiation, supplier qualification and performance management in a cost effective, consistent quality and well managed CSR manner. The efforts will ensure that supplier identification, development, cost management and continuous improvement becomes a core competency at Medicom.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies.
- Collect and analyze supply requirements across the business units and cross-function teams and translate to the sourcing plan and activities to deliver the result to meet the business needs.
- Stay close to the market reality and conduct cost negotiation to ensure the competitiveness of sourced materials and goods.
- Continuously improve the total cost of ownership through planned negotiations, product standardization, cost analysis and re-engineering and so on. Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking to support company’s bottom line and EBITDA performance.
- Discover and develop partnership with trustworthy vendors and suppliers.
- Stay close with raw material index, new products availability, and innovation trends to keep Medicom competitive and well-informed with the change of supply.
