As a not-for-profit, independent research institute based in North Carolina, USA, RTI has roughly 6,000 employees with global experience implementing international development projects.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Global Talent Acquisition Partner plays a pivotal role in sourcing, screening, and identifying qualified talent for proposal and project positions globally. This position will support full lifecycle recruitment management services including but not limited to sourcing for international and/or domestic recruiting campaigns and individual positions; candidate management and documentation within application tracking systems and contact management system; candidate screening and interview services and negotiations. This individual will have significant engagement with business and proposal development teams within the International Development Business Unit.
This position will report to the Associate Director, Talent Acquisition and will be based in the US (Washington, DC; Research Triangle Park, NC or remote). Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
This is a full-time contract opportunity with potential for hire.
Responsibilities:

Business Development and Talent Identification

  • Engage in business development recruitment activities from pre-capture through proposal submission.
  • Contact potential candidates, develop and document profiles and maintain contact notes within RTI systems to ensure a high-touch candidate experience.
  • Leverage technology for excellent candidate relationship management to discover and sustain leads, referrals, and other potential prospects. Use social media as a sourcing and branding tool.
  • Develop and disseminate compelling and informative recruitment communications content.

Candidate Relationship and Experience Management

  • Provide support to strategic recruiting activities such as job classification, sourcing, candidate relationship management, and offer negotiation.
  • Support documentation gathering and reference checks for finalist candidates to ensure compliance with client and RTI requirements.
  • Coordinate and provide direct onboarding support for project staff identified through the proposal process to support rapid mobilization at project award.
  • Provide data management for candidate relationships and support recruitment administration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in international studies, political science, business, communication, or other relevant discipline preferred with a minimum of one year of relevant experience.
  • Experience in full-cycle recruitment a plus.Experience working for a global organization is highly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to work on multiple projects where competing demands are the norm.
  • Experience utilizing social/professional networking associations, groups, and products to build and maintain candidate relationships.
  • Knowledgeable of an applicant tracking system (ATS), and other relevant Human Resources/Talent Acquisition tools a plus
  • Critical thinker, able to identify issues and opportunities, provide solutions and reach consensus with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficient with recruitment processes, with global or multinational organization experience a plus.
  • Ability to evaluate resumes and ensure screening compliance.
  • Familiarity with employment laws, regulations, and equal employment standards.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills demonstrated through interview responses and work samples.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, with sharp attention to detail.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to work in a dynamic environment.

  • Ability to work across international time zone of projects assigned.Professional fluency in French and/or Spanish a plus.

Hiring Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,00
