Description:

The person in this role should be a SME in K8 (returning) or be skilled with ERPs and be able to learn K8 as well as work with new releases and understand issues that could arise. This person should be prepared to work across geographies and departments, as well as with stakeholders. In partnership with the TD Team, a strategy for measuring effectiveness will be developed. At least once per year, content and material will be audited and updated. The Talent Development Partner must have a willingness to film/edit videos, writing scripts, lead events, create job aids, and learn about innovative ways to help our employees learn. Additionally, special projects for K8 R&D will be supported. Deliverables may be agile or modular with highest impact content focused on first. Rapid design could be required at times. Training, project, or customer success measures should be considered throughout and reporting and tracking provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct training needs analysis
  • Develop clear, specific training objectives, chunked by highest business impact content
  • Build, publish, and edit content with evaluations & assessments in a learning management system
  • Handle all K8 training requests
  • Attends Train-the-Trainer sessions and be willing to develop personal knowledge about the business, markets, regions, or products as required.
  • Liaise with K8 R&D, PSG, Support to ensure integrity of content
  • Liaise with K8 Sales and Pre-Sales to ensure level 1 product training is available as required
  • Conduct accuracy audits to update and maintain content once to twice annually
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Keep up-to-date with developments and trends in the industry and attending training courses
  • Work collaboratively with other trainers and instructional designers
  • Present content to stakeholders as required
  • Develop excellent relationships, internally and externally
  • Interpret and bridge the connections between current and desired performance
  • Promote and educate the business on the learning and development offerings available and K8 curriculum to the internal mobility being designed to align to Job Architecture
  • Respond to and overcome barriers to change
  • Build trust with stakeholders
  • Create, maintain and deliver to work schedules
  • Partner with other TD Partners to implement effective new starter product training strategy
  • Address remedial needs
  • Gives constructive feedback to customers/stakeholders to enable informed decisions
  • Gather SME training and catalogue for use by the global business
  • Any other duties commensurate with role, as required
  • Improve Speed to proficiency of all new K8 employees
  • Improve speed to customer impact for all new releases
