JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Global Talent Specialist, you will be responsible for putting in place the global strategy for talent management and DEI that aligns with business needs and priorities, providing an engaging and inclusive experience, and enabling the Group with the tools to face the future. This position is based in Portugal, where the offices are in Carnaxide and Forte da Casa and remote work is encouraged.

You will be challenged to think of solutions for the business needs and ensure proper implementation of the Group’s People and Culture strategies, including the following areas:

  • organisational development;
  • learning and development;
  • culture;
  • engagement;
  • people data analysis;
  • talent attraction;
  • talent management and retention;
  • employer branding;
  • internal communication;
  • HR systems management;
  • diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.

You should be a self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills and a strong sense of accountability for our team projects and process maintenance.
This position belongs to an international team, and you will report to the Global Talent Manager.

Main responsibilities within the job:

  • Take ownership of the main process of talent management.
  • Design and implement initiatives to support a performance-driven organisation and to foster a feedback culture;
  • Performance, skills and potential internal assessments process management, rollout, and monitoring;
  • Analyse talent analytics and indicators by creating a high-standard reporting system for people management decisions;
  • Develop and execute internal communication plans and initiatives;
  • Develop activities to promote and incite Schréder’s organisational culture and values;
  • Promote initiatives to foster the organisational competencies’ framework;
  • Design learning paths to promote Schréder’s learning culture and map upskilling/reskilling needs for the organisation from a global perspective;
  • Work on Schréder’s Employee Value Proposition and implement employer branding initiatives;
  • Be a champion of DE&I;
  • Global alignment with Regional People & Culture representatives, Local P&c Teams on Corporate and Transversal;
  • Act as a superuser of the HR tools and systems and support countries on it;
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines;
  • Implement the engagement and DEI survey and analyse the results to propose action plans.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Human Resources, or any business-related subject;
  • Proven 5-year experience in similar functions, preferably in a matrix environment;
  • Outstanding employee coaching skills (learning and development);
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail;
  • Excellent time management skills;
  • Ability to handle confidential information;
  • Excellent understanding of internal communications and excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Solution-focused and comfortable working in an ambiguous environment;
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to comprehend, interpret, and manage people’s data;
  • Creative thinker who will bring innovative practices and solutions;
  • Accountable person willing to make a positive impact on our employees’ experience;
  • Full proficiency in English;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365;
  • Experience with Human Resource software and tools and implementation of Human Resources systems.
  • Intermediate knowledge of PowerBI and PowerApps.
