Description:
Join us as a Global Reward Lead at AstraZeneca, a global, science-led biopharmaceutical company that focuses on the discovery, development and commercialisation of prescription medicines. As a Reward Lead, you will be accountable for providing total reward advice, insight and guidance across multiple countries and business areas. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the business, ensuring that the development and execution of the Total Reward Strategy reflects evolving business needs and aligns with global total reward policies, practices, and governance requirements.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and working with local and/or regional teams to develop total reward initiatives that support our strategy and are authentic and inclusive. You will lead the implementation of all global total reward programmes, as well as leading on the re-design of total reward solutions with cross-functional/cross-geographic teams. You will also be accountable for continually developing leader and line manager total reward understanding and application, particularly in relation to equitable reward decisions.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Educated to graduate level with post-graduate qualification in related area
- Evidence of building trusted business partnerships, as well-established people skills with the ability to engage, collaborate and influence with a broad range of stakeholders
- Ability to demonstrate effective business delivery within ambiguous and uncertain environments and can demonstrate strong understanding and application of risk management
- Evidence of managing high level risk by making complex judgements, development of innovative solutions and application of a comprehensive cross-functional and industry understanding
- Expert knowledge of policies, process and procedures relating to total reward both within one country and cross-markets
- Experience of delivering end to end reward change within a large organisation / market, with evidence of leading successful reward change programmes
- Advanced financial capability, along with ability to translate complex analysis into simple stories
- Experience of developing individuals and successfully leading matrix teams
- Strong understanding of inclusion and diversity, with experience in equity reporting and organisational application
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Educated to Masters Level
- Experience of delivering significant organisational change from both a reward and broader HR perspective
- Experience in executing global processes locally and delivering significant reward and benefit changes in country
- Experience in working effectively in a global team
- Established networks within regional and local reward communities
- Experience of delivering value through AI as well as digitalisation of the reward experience
- Ability to understand drivers of improved business performance in relation to reward and experience of delivering value through change
- Project management qualification
