Qualifications/Skills:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (preferably in psychology or related field).
  • Strong communication skills in both written and spoken French and English.
  • Experience working in the space of mental health.
  • Flexibility to work in a variety of time zones.
  • Exceptional organizational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, managing multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • Strong technology aptitude – deliver training on different platforms and use different training tools to make training more interactive. Proficiency in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft Office 365, and eLearning/LMS systems preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal including sensitivity to working with individuals of different languages, and differing levels of English proficiency.
  • Appreciation for cultural diversity.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced global environment.
  • Expertise in establishing & maintaining data quality standards

Responsibilities:

The Global Learning Solutions Team have an exciting opportunity for a Global Training Specialist. The Global Training Specialist will provide best-in-class training on behalf of Global Learning Solutions department. We are looking for a strong trainer who has exceptional skills in facilitating virtual and on-site training sessions on a variety of topics related to mental health and wellbeing. The candidate will need to have excellent training and facilitation skills and a good understanding of mental health, mental health support, and mental wellbeing strategies to be able to develop training material on different aspects, and to generate ideas for new training topics as well. The candidate must be an English and French speaker, confident and capable in delivering world class training sessions in both languages. Candidates would also need to be able to consult with clients on their training needs and suggest training interventions that would be a good fit to their objectives and their environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare content on various topics to add to our global learning offerings. These could include topics for the standard catalogue, WPO’s promotional webinars, or professional development sessions.
  • Consult with clients on customised training needs that they have and create proposals based on the client’s requirement.
  • Interface with other parts of the GLS team to ensure smooth delivery from the client’s perspective.
  • Conduct virtual and on-site training sessions on a variety of mental health and wellness topics.
  • Facilitate standard and bespoke training sessions.
  • Interview and select appropriate trainers to fulfil client training requests.
  • Confirm training logistics with trainers and account managers.
  • Provide a training summary to the account manager following the training session.
  • Host online webinars or record archived sessions, based on client requests.
  • Liaise with local trainers to ensure that training is effectively localised.
  • Ensure that translation of presentations complies with the WPO Translation Policy.
  • Be a subject matter expert regarding available trainings or orientations.
  • Manage bespoke learning projects as part of WPO’s promotional campaigns.
