Global Commercial Transactional, within the Global Service Business Unit, is working across the aftermarket transactional business areas of the Service business. In close collaboration with global functions and service regions across the globe we are implementing the commercial transactional strategy and day-to-day improvements supporting our sales regions fulfilling Vestas´ “Profitable Growth” strategy. The team is responsible for gathering and sharing best practice, implementing global initiatives across the value chain and sales regions, subsequently ensuring that the transactional business is operated as efficiently as possible. Transactional business performance is likewise globally tracked across financial, processes and systems ensuring that we advance, and drive continues improvement agendas across regions and functions.
As our new Transactional Execution Sales Manager, you will develop global E2E Special Transactional Sales campaigns (e.g. Excess stock) and ensures that they are implemented sustainably in the long term with other functional areas such as supply chain, E-commerce, pricing & costing, finance and legal, ensuring that transactional strategy is optimized.

QUALIFICATIONS

On a professional level you will act as global partner for our regions, setting the standard and driving global best practices for product sales performance, thus we expect you to be able to reflect yourself in some if not all of the following:

  • 57+ years of experience on technical sales on industrial environments, with experience in selling services and products with preference for renewables
  • A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, industrial engineering, or a related field and additionally holds a relevant contractual, commercial, or technical education
  • Experience with establishing cross-functional improvement initiatives and intelligence capabilities to support stakeholders to reach their targets
  • Experience in sharpening and driving commercial targets to increase commercial after sales product performance
  • Experience with facilitating interfaces to help stakeholders fulfil transactional sales targets

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role reports directly to Head of Global Transactional Commercial Execution. As a Sales Manager, you will bring commercial expertise and experience from sales or business consultancy, while having a good business insight for developing and driving sales improvement initiatives across a complex global matrix organization.

You can expect to have the following responsibilities:

  • Developing Special Transactional Sales campaigns for excess stock and negotiation of framework agreements for excess stock with regional and global customers in coordination with the Service regions
  • Ensure close co-operation with relevant stakeholders such as Legal, Finance, Supply Chain and Transport Management, Master Data, Global Key Account Management (Global Bundle Selling) and Transactional Sales Enablement Team
  • Execute Transactional quotes and sales orders within our Sales Channels, including e-commerce
  • Global transactional focus on bulk selling to brokers and scrapping for trimming inventory and improving general relevance and quality of remaining inventory
  • Lead or participate in preparing agreements and proposals. Facilitate negotiations for service agreements, ensuring favourable terms for both parties
  • Build and maintain solid customer relationships during negotiation phases. Evaluate Customer (Broker & Scrapper) requests and needs, ensuring timely and effective responses.
  • Concept Development and Improvement: Facilitate the development and enhancement of Transactional Sales concepts; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine service offerings

  • You have solid and proven experience within sales and customer interface, having previously worked for an international company. To achieve your goals in this position, you must have project and stakeholder management skills combined with an interest in complex contracts and legal issues.
