Discover Waitomo is looking for a dynamic and dedicated Glowworm Cave Services Manager to join our team and ensure the operational success of our iconic Glowworm Caves.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the Glowworm Cave Services Manager, you will:

• Provide maintenance support for the Glowworm Caves under the direction of the Facilities and Infrastructure Manager.
• Manage and improve infrastructure and maintenance practices to enhance the customer experience.
• Lead the Glowworm Cave cleaning team, ensuring best practices and world-class standards.
• Ensure our sites are well-maintained, resolving maintenance issues cost-effectively, safely, and promptly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee and conduct building maintenance with relevant contractors.
• Lead a small team of Service Technicians.
• Lead the cleaning team and manage relationships with suppliers and third parties.
• Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting and landscaping.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Manage site waste and recycling.
• Supervise contractors as needed.
• Undertake other duties as directed by the Facilities and Infrastructure Manager.
