Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
As Assistant Store Manager at our Rundle Mall Store, you will support the Store Manager by leading, driving and inspiring your team to achieve overall success.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will also be responsible, however not limited to the following duties & responsibilities:
- Lead by example to assist in setting management expectations across your Team
- Train, mentor and coach Team Members to work towards goals and succession planning
- Problem solving and ability to provide solutions
- Assist with roster management and payroll approval
- Manage the team ( Shop Floor & Back of House) to ensure that tasks are completed in an efficient and effective manner
- Proactive approach in loss prevention management i.e. stock shrinkage
- Work with the Visual Merchandising Team to ensure that all creative visions are applied within the store
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:
- Experienced and well- rounded retailer management experience
- Ability to work Sunday to Thursday Roster
- Leadership, motivator, and aspirational attributes
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities, tasks and overall expectations
- Adaptable and supportive approach
- A love for the Glue brand and culture
