Sitting within our wider Commercial team, you will be responsible for leading the end to end 3-5 year strategy for the Impulse Liquor & Beverages division, here at Woolworths NZ. Guiding and supporting a team of Merchandising professionals, you will play an active role in prioritising initiatives and resources, with a focus on delivering to both current and future business needs. This is a senior role that will see you take full accountability for the delivery of portfolio results across your team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Set and lead the delivery of the overall strategic direction for the Impulse Liquor and Beverages portfolio to maximise sales, profit, customer satisfaction and optimise inventory
• Drive long term strategies for portfolio, considering forward looking view of product trends, availability, and customer preferences
• Deliver on financial targets (capex, opex, sales) in line with budget
• Build and leverage deep working relationships with Buying team, Marketing, Operations, Logistics & Finance to ensure models are in place to deliver customer and financial outcomes

• Embed customer insights into the commercial operation to drive VOC & VOS NPSDevelop and coach the next generation of leaders
