JOB SUMMARY:

The primary role of a Housekeeper is to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility and its surroundings. They will do basic and periodic cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, dusting, mopping, washing, vacuuming and scrubbing all the areas covered in the building. A Housekeeper is also responsible to make sure washrooms are cleaned and sanitized.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES

• Minimum of 1-year housekeeping experience required
• Completion of grade 12 at the start of employment required
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
• Able to safely lift 40 pounds
• Must be personable, friendly and outgoing with excellent customer service skills
• High energy and a strong work ethic
