WHAT WE NEED

Oivan is looking for a full-time architect level Golang expert to join our team, preferably with project experience in Go programming language and ideally in Node.js and Flutter Web. The desired candidate will be responsible for developing the backend side and maintaining the development of a secure visual communication platform dedicated to the government sector in Saudi Arabia.

Your role fortifies this platform crucial in managing timely information access, advancing the nation’s healthcare innovation goals and aligning with the nation’s commitment to tech-driven progress.

As a (Senior) Golang Architect, you’ll develop and maintain the platform’s backend infrastructure. We have one Golang Architect, and the frontend team is about 2-3 people large and based on flutter web application. We have one project manager, and one SIP expert as we are developing a secure platform.

Leveraging your extensive experience in backend development, you will architect, build, and optimize scalable solutions to ensure the platform’s reliability, performance, and security. You will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Develop and maintain the backend systems and APIs powering the platform, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Frontend Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers) to implement new features and functionalities.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, identify performance bottlenecks, and propose solutions to improve system efficiency.
• Lead initiatives to enhance platform security, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Optimize database structures and queries for improved performance and scalability.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose their integration where appropriate to elevate platform capabilities.
