Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

The primary purpose of this role is to review and assess the current compliance and risk environment related to complaints handling processes as part of RAA Insurance. This role requires a thorough understanding of the regulatory and compliance landscape governing complaints handling to ensure alignment with industry standards and organizational policies.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Compliance and Risk Assessment: Conduct a detailed review of the current RAA complaints handling processes to identify compliance and risk issues; Evaluate the existing compliance framework and risk management practices to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Regulatory Analysis: Stay abreast of relevant regulatory changes and industry standards impacting complaints handling; Analyse the implications of regulatory requirements on the integrated complaints handling processes.
  • Integration Support: Collaborate with the integration team to ensure compliance considerations are integrated into the transition plan; Provide guidance on risk mitigation strategies to address identified compliance gaps.
  • Policy and Procedure Development: Assist in developing and updating policies and procedures to enhance compliance and mitigate risks in complaints handling; Ensure that all documentation reflects current regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Develop metrics and KPIs to monitor compliance and risk management effectiveness; Prepare and present reports on compliance status, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior management and the integration team.
