POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Continuously improve and evolve Growth Ops policies and procedures in response to internal and external factors.
  • Maintain the obligations register and assist with mapping controls for contractual and non-regulatory obligations.
  • Maintain a compliant framework for product design and distribution requirements across all Growth Ops relationships.
  • Implement and enhance monitoring activities to ensure effective control operation and risk identification.
  • Support the maintenance and improvement of the Growth Ops policies and procedures framework.
  • Provide governance SME advice for various divisional projects.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and contribute to management reporting.
  • Assist with risk, compliance, and audit programs to support superior business outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Experience in process mapping, process improvements, and monitoring/assurance activities.
  • Familiarity with process mapping tools, Confluence, and JIRA.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards, legislative requirements, and industry codes (desirable).
  • Experience with General Insurance in Australia, especially in Licensee/Authorised Representative/Referrer relationships (desirable).

Responsibilities:

As the Growth Ops Governance & Continuous Improvement Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the Growth Ops leadership team to deliver Auto & General’s risk management strategy. You will assist in coordinating the Growth Ops Division’s responses to changes in legislation and regulation, while also overseeing a robust governance framework for key customer and policy/procedure documentation. This role is essential to ensuring our compliance and risk management initiatives are consistently upheld across various Growth Ops teams, including Marketing, Media, Digital, Aggregation, and our external partners.
