Description:

Join our Commodity Markets and Finance Division as an Analyst in our Deal and Logistics Management team based in Geneva.
Working in the Governance and Controls team, the team is responsible for monitoring and analysing risks of commodity finance transactions across a diverse portfolio of energy, agriculture and resources loans and structured physical transactions.

What role will you play?
Your responsibilities will include performing assurance reviews across a variety of Deal and Logistics Management operating controls, investigating and verifying borrowing base valuations and calculations by gathering independent 3rd Party information sources to support conclusions. You will also be authoring monthly reporting for dissemination of validation outcomes. Your role will require you to partner with relationship teams in development of validation process for new credit transactions, as well as maintaining detailed tracking of required processing for an assigned portfolio of clients.

What you offer

  • Major in finance, economics, accounting, or other quantitative disciplines, with fluency in English, written and spoken
  • Up to 2 years of Commercial or Corporate banking experience with understanding of banking, finance/accounting, and risk-related issues
  • Financial audit experience would be beneficial, with strong attention to detail, hunger for knowledge and intellectual curiosity
  • Data mining, coding/programming and analysis skills are desirable
  • Experience in the energy and/or commodities sector is a plus.
