Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of the corporate office at a forward thinking patient centred organisation. We’re looking for a governance manager to join our secretariat team and support the Company secretary in ensuring the delivery of a comprehensive secretariat and corporate governance service to the Trust. This will include working closely with the Trust Board, the Council of Governors and their sub-committees, supporting them to meet their obligations and ensure that the Foundation Trust can ensure ongoing compliance with the regulatory framework. The post holder will support the Company Secretary in ensuring the delivery of a comprehensive secretariat and corporate governance service to the Trust. This will include supporting and providing high quality administrative support to the Trust Board, and the Council of Governors and their sub-committees, supporting them to meet their obligations and ensure the Foundation Trust can ensure ongoing compliance with the regulatory framework. To oversee compliance with governance policy requirements including the Trust’s Standing Orders, Standards of business conduct and Fit and proper persons policies
