Gathern is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Governance, Risk, and Compliance Manager to join our team. As the Governance, Risk, and Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in establishing and maintaining effective governance practices, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls. You will assess and mitigate risks, monitor compliance, and provide guidance and training to employees on governance, risk, and compliance matters.
We are looking for individuals with a strong understanding of governance, risk management, and compliance principles. REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in business, law, finance, or a related field
• Proven experience in governance, risk management, or compliance
• Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Professional certifications in governance, risk management, or compliance are a plus

• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Monitor and assess risks, and develop risk management strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective governance practices
• Provide guidance and training to employees on governance, risk, and compliance matters
• Monitor compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Stay up-to-date with changes in laws, regulations, and industry best practices
• Conduct audits and internal assessments to ensure adherence to governance and compliance standards
