Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Government Account Executive to join our team, supporting North America. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of sales experience selling Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions to state, local, and federal government entities. This role requires a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas, strong relationship-building skills, and an in-depth understanding of the government procurement process.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to within the government sector.
- Identify and target new business opportunities within state, local, and federal government agencies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in government organizations.
- Present SaaS solutions to government clients, effectively communicating the value proposition and addressing any technical or business-related inquiries.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and customer success, to ensure alignment and successful client engagements.
- Stay informed about industry trends, government regulations, and competitive landscape to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market analyses to senior management.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote the company’s SaaS solutions.
