DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS
ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Government Accounting and Compliance Analyst, to join our team.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- US Citizenship required
- BS or BA in Accounting, Finance or Business
- At least 2 years of experience supporting audits
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft excel skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of the requirements of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
- Knowledge of the requirements of the Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
- Experience working with accounting systems
- Some experience supporting USG audits and reviews
- Experience working with project cost ledgers
- Some experience or knowledge responding to DCAA and/or DCMA audit requests
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
The projected compensation range for this position is $59,400.00-$98,700.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. Internally performs work related to the preparation of the annual Incurred Cost Submission, Forward Pricing Rate Proposal, Cost Impact Proposals and other internal reviews or projects associated with ensuring compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) as well as DCAA or DCMA reporting requirements.
- Working knowledge of the preparation and development of the annual incurred cost submission (ICS), including the preparation and development of the cumulative allowable cost worksheet (CACWS)
- Working knowledge of the preparation and development of forward pricing rate proposals (FPRP)
- Facilitating internal control governance reviews in order to ensure compliance with the requirements of DFARS Business Systems and other FAR/CAS regulatory requirements.
- Working knowledge of the preparation and development of cost impact proposals
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentation
Responsibilities:
