Description:
To support the Trust Secretary and Deputy Trust Secretary to ensure that the Council of Governors and their associated Working Groups are properly constituted, operated and supported. To support the Trust Secretary with the development and delivery of a Governor and Member Engagement Strategy, and to support the Trusts Governors and Members to fulfil their general duties as defined in the Trusts Constitution. To provide a high quality, effective and efficient administrative service to the Trusts Governors, Members and potential Members To work with the Trust Secretary and the Deputy Trust Secretary to ensure that effective relationships between the Board of Directors, Council of Governors and Trusts membership are maintained. To support the Trust Secretary with delivery of the overarching corporate governance service provision for Governors and Members to ensure compliance with the Trusts regulatory framework.
To provide training and education on the role of Trust Governors and Members where required. To prepare reports for Council of Governors meetings and Governor Working Groups. Please note it is a requirement of The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust that all successful candidates who require a DBS for the post they have been offered pay for their DBS certificate.The method of payment is a salary deduction from your first months pay.
