Description:

Job Summary
Own and effectively manage an assigned low spend and not strategic portfolio following sourcing strategy and using established sourcing methodology and tools. As well as perform transactional activities for PO creation/changes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage team’s shared mailbox.
  • PR to PO flip management. Monitor necessary approvals in line with company’s policies & guidelines, negotiate, process.
  • Manage spot and urgency buys.
  • Basic Tail Portfolio management: create, maintain and approve suppliers as per stakeholders’ requests.
  • Execute Tail Spend strategy.
  • Evaluates and selects suppliers within tail portfolio, following business indications in terms of quality, service, specs aiming to cost efficiency.
  • Understands and is updated on business needs and evolution regarding product changes, forecast and critical product demand.
  • Negotiates prices following the market trends and identifies opportunities in cost optimization.
  • Resolve issues with suppliers regarding delivery, quality, supply problem, pricing and issues with blocked invoice for payment.
  • Creates leveraged agreements as appropriate.
  • Calculates and reports accomplishments in all appropriate systems

Requirements

  • Master or bachelor’s degree
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, other language is a plus.
  • 2 years’ experience in Procurement
