Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Grader Driver/Maintenance Supervisor to join our team during the dry season, April to November. This role is essential to maintaining and improving property infrastructure, ensuring safe and reliable access, and overseeing maintenance tasks across our Normanton/Croydon properties. The successful candidate will work closely with management to prioritise and implement maintenance projects and uphold our high standards for property care.
REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful, you will demonstrate:
- Experience operating a grader or similar heavy machinery
- Practical skills in mechanical repairs and servicing
- Proficiency in maintaining and repairing fencing, water systems, and other station infrastructure
- Strong leadership and organisational skills to effectively manage tasks and personnel
- Commitment to safety, with knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations
- A valid driver’s license (HR license preferred)
- Previous experience in a similar role on rural or remote properties (preferred)
- Familiarity with cattle station operations (desirable)
- Basic welding and fabrication skills (desirable)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to overcome challenges
