WTW is excited to offer an opportunity for you to kick-start your career in insurance and risk management with a specialism in construction. Be involved with the biggest construction projects and construction companies as a specialist construction insurance adviser in the New Zealand Construction Team. THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering or Law
  • Have a desire forcareer progression – this is a great training opportunity to support our Construction team, develop your knowledge and establish a career in broking.
  • New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5) General Insurance or a willingness to work towards this.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office products.
  • Ability to prioritise work, manage deadlines, and thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Quick learner with a desire to take on additional duties when required.

Responsibilities:

As a Construction Account Executive, you will:

  • Prepare accurate and comprehensive client documentation, ensuring 100% accuracy and obtaining approval before distribution.
  • Collaborate with Client Managers and Client Directors to manage larger clients’ insurance, risk management, and programmes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and insurers, including representing WTW at events.
  • Liaise with the offshore Operations Support team to ensure seamless preparation and delivery of documentation.
  • Respond to client claims enquiries, provide advice on the claims process, and manage workflow and diary systems.
  • Contribute to achieving new business targets annually for the team and maintain compliance with relevant legislative requirements.
