Our Graduate Program is designed to support local talent and promote diversity in the workplace. We are therefore seeking applications from South African citizens aged 18 to 25, with no prior work experience, who belong to previously disadvantaged demographic groups.

Role Overview
As a Graduate Business Analyst, you’ll be a vital part of our Trading and Market Data team, helping to bridge the gap between our technical teams and our clients. This role is tailored for graduates who are enthusiastic about financial services, particularly trading and market data, and are excited to develop analytical and strategic skills within a dynamic fintech environment.
You’ll gain hands-on experience by assisting with requirements gathering, process analysis, and client documentation, all while collaborating closely with product, engineering, and client teams to ensure our solutions meet business needs. Our goal is to offer permanent employment to graduates who excel and demonstrate their potential during this 12-month program.
Accountabilities & Deliverables

Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

• Assist in gathering and documenting client requirements, collaborating with senior analysts to ensure a deep understanding of client needs and objectives.
• Support the analysis of business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and alignment with our products and services.

Solution Development and Testing Support:

• Work with technical and product teams to transform requirements into deliverable solutions, participating in testing to confirm that solutions meet client needs.
• Learn to create and update detailed process maps, user stories, and documentation to support implementation and client understanding.

Client Communication and Support:

• Act as a supporting contact for clients, helping clarify requirements and ensuring they are informed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to training and onboarding sessions for clients to help them maximise the value of our solutions.

Continuous Improvement and Feedback:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and analyse client feedback, identifying ways to enhance product offerings and service delivery.
• Participate in team meetings, sharing insights on client needs and market trends within the trading and market data sectors.

Qualifications and Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field (required)
• Demonstrated interest and foundational understanding of financial services, trading, and market data (required)

• Business Analysis: Learn the fundamentals of analysing business needs, defining requirements, and documenting processes.
• Client Communication: Develop skills to engage effectively with clients, ensuring clear understanding and alignment with their needs.

• Financial Services Knowledge: Demonstrate a keen interest in financial services and gain an in-depth understanding of trading and market data.
• Adaptability: Show flexibility and resilience in response to evolving client needs, project changes, and new information.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with different departments to drive project success and deliver value to clients.
