Description:

GRADUATE CONTROL & INSTRUMENT ENGINEER

Salary: Circa £35k - Flexible Benefits Fund worth £900.
Location: Aberdeen office (Hybrid)
Applicant must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
Penspen www.penspen.com are looking for a Graduate with up to 3 years experience in Controls & Instruments.
You must have a technical bias and be comfortable in working on your own.
Capable of working in multidisciplinary environment and dealing with uncertainty. You must excellent communication
verbal and writing skills. If you have exceptional time management we want to hear from you asap.

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE (SKILLS):

  • Understanding of C&I design for onshore and offshore pipelines, crude oil tank farms, process plants, petroleum refineries, FPSO, etc.
  • Knowledge of the relevant National and International Standards and Codes of Practice.
  • General computer literacy with MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Windows and the Internet.
  • Ability to communicate with Senior Engineers, as required by the Business Stream.
  • Highly organised with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Discretion and confidentiality at all times.
  • Flexibility to work within team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • An engineering degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.

GENERIC

  • Ensure deliverables meet project requirements and specifications.
  • Ensure integrity, effectiveness, safety and robustness on all stages of engineering design, consultancy and EPC projects.
  • Organise and prioritise discipline work tasks to ensure maximum efficiency and performance of work in accordance with corporate and project / client procedures.
  • Interface with other discipline staff as required by Project/Engineering Manager.
