Description:
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Minimum Degree qualified - Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering (NFQ Level 8)
- Driving license
- Relevant industry experience though not essential, would be an advantage
- Strong technical and design ability essential
- Strong IT skills required. Knowledge of AutoCAD would be an advantage, but training will be provided where necessary
- Excellent team worker with effective communication and interpersonal skills
- A flexible approach to work & full drivers licence will be required
- Formal report writing and professional presentation of work essential
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working under the direction of the Operations team Senior Design;
- Drawing preparation & detailing (AutoCAD);
- Liaising with crew supervisors to get updates from site;
- Updating revenue trackers with metrics from site;
- Updating ArcGIS system with info from our owns crews and sub-contractors;
- Updating ArcGIS system with future developments ahead of time;
- Working closing with the GIS team to develop the system further and fix any bugs that the site crews are experiencing
- Preparation of material specifications & BOQ;
- Preparation of calculations and drawings;
- Processing of survey information;
- Temporary works design.
- Occasional travel to and from work sites
