QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Minimum Degree qualified - Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering (NFQ Level 8)
• Driving license
• Relevant industry experience though not essential, would be an advantage
• Strong technical and design ability essential
• Strong IT skills required. Knowledge of AutoCAD would be an advantage, but training will be provided where necessary
• Excellent team worker with effective communication and interpersonal skills
• A flexible approach to work & full drivers licence will be required
• Formal report writing and professional presentation of work essential

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working under the direction of the Operations team Senior Design;
• Drawing preparation & detailing (AutoCAD);
• Liaising with crew supervisors to get updates from site;
• Updating revenue trackers with metrics from site;
• Updating ArcGIS system with info from our owns crews and sub-contractors;
• Updating ArcGIS system with future developments ahead of time;
• Working closing with the GIS team to develop the system further and fix any bugs that the site crews are experiencing
• Preparation of material specifications & BOQ;
• Preparation of calculations and drawings;
• Processing of survey information;
• Temporary works design.
• Occasional travel to and from work sites
