Description:
This is a rare opportunity to become a part of the Applications Engineering team in Cambridge, UK. We work within the Partner Enablement group, and we provide technical support and training to customers worldwide, helping them build the best possible System-on-Chip (SoC) based on Arm CPUs and System IP.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCES:
- Understanding of SoC design principles and CPU architectures
- Understanding of OS, RTOS, and Firmware
- Some coding experience in C, familiarity with linux shell and scripting
- Experience in using debug tools for debugging system code during execution
- Excellent written and spoken English
Responsibilities:
As an Application Engineer, you will deliver technical support to Arm’s diverse network of partners, addressing a range of product challenges, presenting tailored solutions, and potentially engaging in global travel to facilitate inclusive training sessions and design assessments. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing prompt, accurate responses to inquiries related to Arm Architecture, System IP, and Firmware, ensuring accessibility for all customers.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to enhance user experiences, influence feature development inclusively, and rigorously test software stack releases.
- Creating and updating accessible online resources, documentation, and tools to foster understanding of evolving ISA functionality and optimize support efficiency.
- Specializing in Arm ISA extensions (e.g., TrustZone), System on Chip (SoC) design, and ensuring seamless firmware/software interoperability across diverse Arm platforms.
