As an intern, you will get to work on our Carbon Advisory desk and take on a project with real-world application. This role will involve a steep learning curve with on-the-job training.

We are looking for graduate students who are interested in building a career in the environmental, corporate sustainability, advisory sectors.
Candidates must have:
- A degree in Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Management, Economics, Accounting, Business or equivalent work experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and competencies:
- A self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative
- Strong technology skills – MS Office (including Excel)
- Design skills for presentations using tools such as PowerPoint and Canva
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organised with an ability to prioritise time-sensitive assignments
- Relevant knowledge of ghg accounting, corporate social responsibility, sustainability and climate change
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset and great team player
Responsibilities:
Interns are responsible for the successful execution of projects and daily process work for SCB’s Carbon Advisory Desk. This combination of project and process work allows interns to research a section of the industry to conclusion and engage in the day to day running of the business.
Projects vary and can include putting together presentations, analysing data or conducting research. Responsibilities may include:
- Researching global reporting frameworks, sector-specific environmental guidance and initiatives
- Assisting with the preparation of presentations and marketing material
- Contributing to client deliverables on sustainability projects
- Preparing for SCB audits including BCorp, ISO and carbon accounting
- GHG accounting support, creation of reports for customers, analysis and processing of data, and graphical representation of data
- Creating a pipeline of potential advisory clients
