Introduction
We have a rare opportunity for a Graduate / Junior Data Reporting Analyst to join a rapidly growing company based in Bristol. We are looking for someone with the right skills, who aligns with our values, as well as a strong educational background.
Role is available for immediate start.

Tasks
Role
As a Data Reporting Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive decision-making across the organisation. Collaborating with teams across sales, marketing, technology, and innovation, you will focus on creating and maintaining robust reporting solutions while ensuring data accuracy and usability.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools: Experience with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker for building dashboards and reports.
  • Data manipulation and querying: Knowledge of SQL for extracting and transforming data.
  • Programming skills: Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and automation.
  • Excel expertise: Advanced Excel skills, including macros, pivot tables, and formulas for reporting.
  • Knowledge of databases and data storage systems: Understanding of relational databases and data warehouses

Experience

  • Experience working with large, complex datasets and integrating data from multiple sources.
  • Familiarity with Agile or project management methodologies is a plus.
  • You don’t have to be from the renewable energy industry but we’d love you to share our passion for sustainability and the journey to net zero

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain reporting dashboards and automated reporting solutions that provide clear and actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with business units to understand reporting needs and translate them into data requirements and solutions.
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data used in reporting and analysis.
  • Use data visualisation techniques to communicate trends, patterns, and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support the maintenance and improvement of the organisation’s Business Intelligence tools and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with teams to promote a culture of data-driven decision-making and provide guidance on how to leverage reports effectively to improve services.
  • Contribute to the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics for internal and client-facing reporting.
