Description:

We’re excited to expand our Engineering division with Graduate Mechanical Engineers to join our Professional Development Programme for our 2025 intake, based in Maple Lodge office in Thames Water Framework, working amongst our Water Treatment Engineering and Design specialists.

Responsibilities:

Working within the Design team you will be an integral part of the delivery of many projects by providing assistance in the following

  • Produce Mechanical design layouts which are cost effective and meet the requirements of the specification.
  • Participate in development of sitewide 3D model and Visual Project Initiation (VPI) animations, communicating key project characteristics
  • Supporting the delivery of design within a multi-discipline environment
  • Attend site visits on water & waste-water treatment works to conduct conditions assessments and site surveys
  • Monitor design costs and provide design services appropriate to the allowance available
  • Maintain files and records throughout the duration of contracts.
  • Production of clear and well-presented reports, specifications, and other engineering calculations & documentation
  • Prepare design risk assessments
  • Participate in Hazard & Operability studies as well as Operability and Maintenance (OpMan) reviews
