REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’sdegree/Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
Direct the daily operations of the Medical Academic Programs.
- Manage all budget aspects of the department. Balance and control all expenditures adhering to audit guidelines.
- Manage staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, conflict management and other job related issues. Oversee scheduling, recruitment and payroll.
- Ensure institution and all residency/fellowship programs remain in compliance with Joint Commission, Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards and Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education requirements in order to maintain full accreditation status.
- Develop new systems and process to support organizational change in response to evolving Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education standards. Presents at national, regional and local conferences, workshops and on-site meetings.
