Description:

The main expectations and responsibilities for the role include: Professional qualification to degree level or equivalent experience plus further training and experience to post graduate diploma level equivalent. Proficient in word processing and in-depth knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages GCSE level 4 or above or functional skills level 2 in Maths and English. Ability to plan, prioritise, manage and organise workload to meet conflicting and competing service needs. Demonstrate interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate, negotiate and influence a range of staff and management at all levels within the organisation with the ability to establish links with external organisations both verbal and written using the most appropriate mechanism for the achievement of required outcomes.
Has the ability to work on own initiative whilst working to tight deadlines. Committed to personal and professional development. Excellent time management skills, achievement of deadlines and performance targets. To contribute to the development of a culture of high engagement, where staff are empowered and entrusted to provide the best services and care for patients.
Holds a valid driving license and is either a car owner or able to use a car for work purposes. It is also essential that the post holder can: Ability to analyse complex situations and makes judgements on a range of issues e.g. staffing issues, budgetary/financial issues and business planning. Demonstrates ability to analyse performance data to review and undertake service improvement initiatives.
Demonstrates ability to plan and organise complex activities or programmes; formulation and adjustment of plans. Able to prioritise own workload. To lead, inspire and motivate others to high performance by agreeing clear goals and objectives, providing support and guidance and creating opportunities for development. To contribute to the development of a culture of high engagement, where staff are empowered and entrusted to provide the best services and care for patients.
To promote and facilitate innovation and continuous improvement to deliver better services for service users and patients. Accountability for the leadership of post holders staff / teams / departments
