Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Production Manager to join our Active Ingredient (AI) manufacturing team. This is your chance to progress your career in a dynamic, challenging environment at a leading upper-tier COMAH site. You will control and elevate operational excellence to new heights. Responsibilities include;

  • Day-to-day management of short and medium-term planning for seamless operations.
  • Achieve production targets through strategic planning, resource optimization, prioritization, and decisive decision-making.
  • Inspire and develop the manufacturing technicians, fostering effective performance and motivation.
  • Continuously monitor and enhance EHS standards, providing technical support per Syngenta protocols.
  • Facilitate clear and timely cross-departmental communications.
  • Swiftly escalate critical issues for immediate resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering from an IChemE-accredited program.
  • Experience in chemical plant & process operations.
  • Strong IT proficiency with ability to use and learn variety of software quickly.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across all levels, with leadership qualities.
  • Automation or software driven plant knowledge/experience is beneficial.
