As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects. Working closely with our experienced quantity surveyors and project managers, you will be involved in various aspects of project cost management, procurement, and contractual administration.
Our commercial department has continuous works in the following areas and will give the successful candidate experience and training in the below:

REQUIREMENTS SKILLS & QUALIFICATION:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field from a recognized university.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using industry-standard quantity surveying software and tools.
  • Sound knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost management principles.
  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities:

  • Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Assisting in the preparation of accurate cost estimates, cost plans, and budgets for construction projects, considering materials, labour, equipment, and other related expenses.
  • Tendering and Procurement: Supporting the procurement process by preparing tender documentation, evaluating bids, and assisting in subcontractor selection and negotiation.
  • Contract Administration: Assisting with the administration of construction contracts, including preparing and reviewing contractual documents, managing variations, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Financial Management: Assisting in the monitoring and control of project finances, including tracking costs, preparing financial reports, and providing advice on cost-saving measures.
  • Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and opportunities, conducting risk assessments, and implementing risk mitigation strategies to ensure projects are delivered within budget and on time.
  • Collaborative Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and successful project outcomes.
  • Quantity Take-offs and Measurement: Undertaking accurate quantity take-offs and measurements from project drawings and specifications to facilitate accurate cost planning and procurement.
