Our Safety & HVAC team at Fornebu is now looking for a Graduate Technical Safety Engineer.
As a graduate 2025, you will be a part of Aker Solutions’ graduate program 2025. This will give you the opportunity to build a professional network, meet fellow graduates from various locations, and visit our headquarters as well as one of our yards.
What will you be doing?

Technical Safety Design in a large engineering project encompasses a large number of subjects. As one of our Technical Safety/Loss Prevention Engineers you will typically be involved in developing your competence and skills in one or more of the following activities:

  • The specification and design of active and passive fire protection systems, safety equipment, escape routes and development of layout documentation
  • Specification of fire and gas detection and alarm systems
  • Involvement in evaluating risk analyses, SIL and reliability analyses, hazard analyses
  • Participation in safety workshops and reviews
  • Interface and cooperation with other project team members, subcontractors/vendors and client personnel, as necessary

We think you should have:
We are looking for motivated candidates with a relevant technical degree.
You should enjoy working in project environments as a part of a large team, and have good communication skills. Professional proficiency in both verbal and written English is important.
