Impactful Role: Take the lead in setting up material development, contributing with your expertise in material development, root cause analysis, automation, and documentation prowess. The role will also to some extent include tasks on establishing material production and optimization hereof.
Job Description
In close collaboration with our existing team, you will develop the next products in our thermal management materials portfolio, and help establish the production of said products, including quality assessment schemes. Key responsibilities include:
- Screening materials for use in new products, including polymer-systems and additive materials
- Verification of functionality through thorough experimentation and analysis
- Handover to production with instructions and quality assurance schemes
Add to your product development-expertise and help inaugurate and monitor the production of innovative materials for thermal management applications – in space!
What We’re Looking For
We’re on the lookout for a material expert with product development experience:
- Hands-on experience with product development, preferably within adhesives and filler materials
- Familiar with polymer chemistries and nano materials, and analytical methods like DSC and TGA.
- Experience with quality assurance and documentation, preferably within (aero)space industry
- Knowledge on the aerospace and/or space industry, particularly with materials’ specifications
- Technical insight and ingenuity
- Strong problem-solving skills (e.g. root cause analysis), documentation experience, teamwork skills, and hands-on approach
