Responsibilities:
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Paediatric Medicine team as a Grant Funded Scientist, where you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating research studies for the Diabetes Team and Clinics.
- Performing data entry and maintaining clinical databases.
- Developing, coordinating, and/or executing clinical research-related procedures
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent.
- Experience of direct research coordination / management in clinical studies.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain both integrity and confidentiality in dealing with issues of a sensitive nature.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, to a wide range of people on a range of sensitive and complex issues.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and under consultant direction to meet deadlines and achieve agreed outputs whilst working with demanding and sometimes competing priorities.
- Evidence of conducting research according to International Conference on Harmonisation - Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP) standards.
- Experience in maintaining general laboratory procedures and record keeping requirements to good laboratory practice (GLP) standards
