MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines and objectives;
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal; especially strong persuasive writing skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative;
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team and across the organization to manage projects in a high functioning, fast-paced environment;
  • Basic research, analytical, data management skills;
  • Computer proficiency (MS Office Suite, Salesforce, Slack, and/or other related platforms)
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse population of colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Inquisitive knowledge-seeker open to navigating new systems and processes; with suggestions for improvements;
  • Prior experience in managing time-sensitive deliverables;
  • Experience with public funding

Responsibilities:

The Grant Writer is a key member of the Grants team, working collaboratively across the organization while also managing a personal portfolio of intuitional funders (Foundation, Corporate, Government). The Grants team works together to raise over $12M annually, balancing renewals with continuous prospecting and pipeline growth. This role is ideal for a grants professional who thrives in a highly collaborative and dynamic environment.
