Write grant summaries to help communities! Euna Grants, powered by eCivis, a market leader in providing web-based grants research and management solutions to local governments (software as a service), is seeking a highly motivated Grants Research Analyst to join our dedicated grants research team.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Grants Research Analyst is responsible for evaluating, analyzing, and summarizing federal, state, and foundation funding opportunities on a daily basis in order to provide our customers with the most pertinent and up-to-date information available. Qualified candidates will possess a high level of reading comprehension and writing skills, and will exhibit excellent time management, an eye for detail, inner drive, and a willingness to work in a deadline-driven environment. The Grants Research Analyst position is essential to producing quality content for delivery to our growing customer base of local governments and is therefore vital to the success of our mission to significantly streamline the grants research process and empower our customers to drive impactful change in their communities.
IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS & CHARACTERISTICS:
- Ability to synthesize and relay complex concepts via written content;
- Superb writing skills, including grammar, spelling, and the ability to summarize efficiently;
- Highly motivated, positive attitude, and ability to work in a structured, performance-driven environment;
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to articulate work to others on the team;
- Ability to work independently as well as assist other members of the team when needed;
- Strong time management, organizational, and follow-through skills;
- Ability to meet and exceed daily and weekly individual performance goals;
- Detail-oriented and consistently striving for accuracy;
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, and with utilizing the Internet as a research tool

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree;
- Experience writing under tight deadlines and/or technical writing; and
- Direct experience working with local governments or grant-related experience.

Responsibilities:
- Writing detailed, high-quality summaries by researching and analyzing grant programs under tight daily and weekly deadlines;
- Communicating with government employees to clarify information in funding announcements and to obtain other pertinent program information; and
- Participating in special projects and other team efforts to advance the level of analysis in Euna Grants products and provide additional useful information to clients.
