Description:

We are searching for a meticulous and experienced Sr. Grant Specialist to join our Full-Time Engagement Practice in WASHINGTON, District of Columbia. As a Sr. Grants Specialist, you will manage grant contracts, ensure compliance with regulatory authorities, and maintain accurate documentation. This role offers a long-term employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Systematically manage grant contracts, including Request for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Ensure strict adherence to regulatory and funding authority requirements by meticulously preparing and gathering contract documentation.
  • Independently manage and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision, demonstrating superior organizational skills.
  • Maintain open and effective communication lines within the team, showcasing strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and contribute positively to the team environment.
  • Utilize various accounting software like SAP, with a willingness to undergo training if necessary.
  • Monitor and take appropriate actions on customer accounts.
  • Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Applicants must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Grant/Contracts Expert
  • Demonstrable knowledge of RFP Requirements is essential.
  • Proficiency in Grant Management is necessary for this role.
  • Familiarity with Federal Grant and Federal Funding procedures is required.
  • Applicants must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is a must.
  • Applicants must have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Knowledge of nonprofit accounting principles and regulations is a plus.
