Description:
Responsibilities:
Are you passionate about driving positive social change through creativity? Do you have the vision and expertise to harness the power of design to address some of the most pressing issues of our time, such as anti-racism, online hate versus free speech, poverty, and broader inclusion agendas? If so, we want you to join our Student Services team as the Graphic Design, Social Impact, and Engagement Lead.
In this pivotal role, you will:
- Champion Social Change: Use your influence and creativity to craft powerful, socially impactful designs that resonate with our diverse student body and the communities we support. Your work will be at the forefront of initiatives that promote inclusivity, equality, and a sense of belonging.
- Collaborate and Inspire: Draw on the unique perspectives and lived experiences of our students to inform creative thought and inspire design solutions across our colleges. You will develop and oversee the creation of dynamic, inclusive, and visually engaging physical and digital learning environments, including exhibitions, campaigns, products, videography, and more.
- Create Inclusive Learning Environments: Design and deliver engaging materials that reflect our commitment to inclusivity across all campuses. You’ll work on a variety of projects for internal audiences, responding to briefs with socially engaging and impactful designs that communicate effectively through multi-channel platforms.
- Lead Student Engagement: Foster a sense of trust, inclusion, and belonging among students by creating and leading engagement activities. These activities, including student clubs, creative projects, and collaborative initiatives, will help students gain new experiences, build connections, and contribute to a positive college culture.
- Empower Future Students: Through creative community engagement, inspire and empower potential students, especially those from marginalized or vulnerable backgrounds, to feel confident in their ability to pursue higher education. Your work will play a key role in making our college an inclusive and welcoming space for all.
- Collaborate for Impact: Work closely with marketing and other internal teams to develop compelling external content that reflects our position as an inclusive and anti-racist institution. Your deep understanding of local community challenges will help shape communication strategies that resonate with and inspire others.
