JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer and Pre-Press Designer to join our creative team. This role involves the creation of visually appealing designs for a wide range of print and digital materials, with a strong focus on preparing artwork for production. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of graphic design principles, typography, and pre-press processes, ensuring that designs meet quality standards and are print-ready.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer and Pre-Press Designer, preferably in a print production environment.
• Expertise in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat).
• Strong understanding of color theory, typography, layout, and pre-press procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to spot and correct design and production errors.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of print production processes, paper types, finishes, and related specifications.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality.
• Familiarity with digital design formats and web design a plus.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience with web design and digital platforms (HTML/CSS, WordPress, etc.)
• Familiarity with 3D rendering software or packaging design experience.
• Knowledge of offset printing, large format printing, and digital printing techniques.

• Graphic Design
• Create visually compelling designs for print materials, including brochures, flyers, posters, banners, packaging, and digital assets.
• Develop concepts and execute designs based on project requirements and client feedback.
• Work closely with the marketing, branding, and creative teams to ensure cohesive visual communication.
• Edit images, retouch photos, and create illustrations where necessary.
• Maintain consistency of design across different media platforms.
• Pre-Press Production
• Prepare final artwork for printing, ensuring all technical requirements and specifications are met (e.g., file format, resolution, color profiles).
• Ensure proper color correction and pre-press quality control, including file checks for bleeds, margins, and proper layering.
• Communicate with printers and production teams to resolve any technical issues during the printing process.
• Convert files into suitable formats for various printing processes (offset, digital, etc.).
• Prepare print-ready files, including proofing, packaging, and ensuring accuracy before sending to press.
• Collaborate with vendors, printers, and manufacturers to ensure seamless production.
• Design Review & Feedback
• Receive and incorporate feedback from clients, senior designers, or managers into design revisions.
• Revise designs based on feedback and ensure all specifications are met before final approval.
• Coordinate with the production team to maintain consistent and high-quality designs during the printing and production stages.
